The Third Annual Women in the Outdoors weekend is May 30-31 at East Canyon Resort and Reservoir. It is sponsored by Wasatch Wilderness Women and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
Events include gun safety, archery, ATV riding, backpacking and hiking, bass fishing, canoeing, Dutch oven cooking, fly fishing and geocaching.
The registration deadline is May 23 and is $65 per person before May 16 and $75 after. There is a mother/daughter discount of $65 for mom and $55 for each daughter under 18. Meals and equipment are included. Call or e-mail Christine Prows at 801-282-4708 or wasatchwito@comcast.net.
