Posted: 6:53 PM- Here are the main Pioneer Day events along Utah's Wasatch Front.

Wednesday: Days of '47 Rodeo, EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Nationally ranked cowpokes compete for more than $300,000 in prize money. Performances are at 7 p.m. except for July 21 (noon), July 22 (6 p.m.) and July 24 (4 p.m.). Children under 14 will be admitted for half price July 18this Wednesday. Tickets, $12.50-$39.50; 801-325-7328 or www.ticketmaster.com.

July 20: The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square's Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert, 7:30 p.m., Conference Center, 60 W. North Temple, Salt Lake City. Free, but tickets required; 801-570-0080 or www.lds.org.

July 20-21: Bountiful Handcart Days, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Bountiful Park, 2224 S. 200 West. Includes a parade on July 20 at 6 p.m., followed by a performance by Carmen Rasmusen at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.; July 21 events begin at 9 a.m. and include food, games, arts and crafts booths, and live entertainment. July 21: Days of '47 Youth Parade and Festival, 10 a.m. to noon, 600 E. 500 South, Salt Lake City. Floats, performing groups and kids in period dress, followed by the festival at Washington Square, 450 S. State St., Salt Lake City, with games, crafts, carnival rides and more. Free; 801-295-2950.

Spirit of '47 Pioneer Jubilee, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., American West Heritage Center, 4025 S. Highway 89-91, Wellsville. Pioneer activities, children's parade and live music. Free. A Handcart Progressive Dinner, where each course is at a different location, is $6, $20 per family; 435-245-6050 or www.awhc.org.

Days of '47 Celebrates Utah's Cultural Pioneers, 6 p.m., Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Live music and entertainment, food, cultural art displays and craft demonstrations from around the world and fireworks. Free.

July 24: Days of '47 KSL Parade, 9 a.m. to noon, begnning at Salt Lake City's Main Street and South Temple, and ending at Liberty Park, 900 S. 500 East. Floats, bands, horses, clowns and drill teams. Free. A limited number of reserved bleacher tickets available for $7; 801-352-6479.

Native American Celebration in the Park, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Liberty Park, Salt Lake City. Intertribal powwow, arts and crafts booths, food, children's rides, multicultural entertainment and fireworks. Free. For more information, call 801-533-9503.

Liberty Park's Tracy Aviary has free admission all day. Trainer talk and educational walk 'n' talks will take place throughout the day.

Days of '47 Pioneer Festival, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., This Is the Place Heritage Park, 2601 E. Sunnyside Ave., Salt Lake City. Pony rides, live music, dancing, train rides, horse-drawn wagon tours of Heritage Village and more. Free; 801-924-7518.

Real Salt Lake vs. Boca Juniors (Argentina), 8 p.m., Rice-Eccles Stadium, 400 S. 1400 East, Salt Lake City, followed by fireworks. Tickets, $50-$150; www.realsaltlake.com.

Butlerville Days Celebration, 4 p.m., Butler Park, 2700 E. 7500 South, Cottonwood Heights. A parade starts the festivities at Butler Elementary School, 2700 E. Fort Union Blvd., followed by carnival rides, live entertainment, food, games, watermelon contest, car show, fireworks and more. Free; Geoff Armstrong, 801-943-3191.

Taste of the Town, 5-8 p.m., Commons Park, 465 N. Wasatch, Layton. Diners can purchase an $8 punch card to sample the food of up to 30 resturants. The tasting will be followed by a concert with Riders in the Sky at the park amphitheater. Free; 801-295-6944.

Pioneer Skills and Crafts Day Fair, 10 a.m to 4 p.m., Fort Buenaventura, 2450 A Ave., Ogden. Sack and three-legged races, music, food vendors, craft demonstrations and more. Admission is $2, $10 for families of up to eight people; 801-399-8099.

Pioneer Day Extravaganza, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., North Park, 500 N. 500 West, Provo. Games, antique car show, pioneer camp and museum, farmers market and live music. Free; 852-6600.

Pioneer Day Celebration, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Willow Park, 500 W. 700 South, Logan. Food and craft booths, watermelon- and pie-eating contests, volleyball and horseshoe tournaments, bingo and more. Pioneer Day Fiddlers 'n' Fireworks Train Ride, 8-10:45 p.m.; Heber Valley Railroad, 450 S. 600 West, Heber City. The Old Time Fiddlers will perform during the ride with pizza and drinks, and fireworks over Deer Creek. Tickets are $35, $20 for children; 801-435-654-5601 or www.hebervalleyrr.org.

Pioneer Days Celebration, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Main Street Park, 200 N. Main St., Cedar City. Games, craft booths, food vendors, live entertainment and a parade at 10 a.m. starting on 400 S. Main St. Free; 435-586-6595.
