CD » "Glee: The Music, Volume 1," a blindingly happy collection of cover songs from the hit TV show "Glee," certainly will please fans of the series but might leave others unimpressed. Cotton-candy crew's versions of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Rihanna's "Take a Bow" are standouts. But most of the other songs are shadows of their original versions. As with most musicals, those who know the context behind the songs will likely appreciate them more than those who don't.
