The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has released the 2008-09 Upland Game Guidebook. The guidebook, previously known as the proclamation, is available at sporting-goods stores across the state and DWR regional offices, and is available for downloading from the agency's Web site at www.wildlife.utah.gov/guidebooks.
The 2008 upland game season opens Aug. 23 with the ptarmigan hunt. The season ends with the final day of the rabbit and snowshoe hare hunts on Feb. 28.
