Gospel music festival coming to Utah in 2009

LOGAN - The state tourism board has agreed to spend more than $10,000 to promote a gospel music festival.

The Utah Board of Tourism Development will spend the money to attract out-of-state visitors to the Snowbird Tent Revival.

The event is scheduled for August 2009. It is expected to be one of the largest gospel music celebrations west of the Mississippi River.

Snowbird Renaissance Center will host the event.
