The Rumi Poetry Club will celebrate spiritual poetry for life and community Oct. 7 from 7-8 p.m. at the Anderson-Foothill Library , 1135 S. 2100 East, Salt Lake City. Lotus Festival

Photography exhibit

Photographer Mark Mabry's images of New Testament-era scenes from the life of Christ, including the nativity, will be on display at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, 15 E. Fundraiser concert

Fall Adventure

Retreat

St. Catherine's Newman Center announces its Fall Adventure Retreat. Participants will hike and camp in Southern Utah - Zion, Bryce Canyon and Arches National Parks - Oct. 11-17.
