There are half a dozen season finales tonight — and all for shows that will return next season.

There's a super-scary edition of "Frontline" (9 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) — a profile of Lucifer … er, uh, Steve Bannon, who used to run Breitbart News and is now trying to lead Donald Trump futher toward the dark side.

And be sure to watch "Downward Dog" (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4). In Episode 2, Nan installs an automatic dog door and Martin (the dog) believes he's using his mind to open it. And then he believes he's controlling other things with his mind as well.

Yes, I do love this show.
