Elizabeth Smart will once again tell her story of survival on Thursday's edition of "Crime Watch Daily" (2 p.m., Ch. 13) — the syndicated series that employs her as a According to the show, in an interview with host Chris Hansen, Smart details how she uses her dark days to help others heal. Smart shares her harrowing story endless rape, threats, and terror at the hands of her captors, Brian Mitchell and Wanda Barzee."

"Every time I thought things couldn't get worse, he'd find some ways for it to get worse," she says.

Smart then goes on to detail how her role as a Crime Watch Daily correspondent has allowed her to help others.

"I want [survivors] to know that if I'm speaking to them … it's because I believe this will help their case. It will help their story. It will help other people out there by hearing their message, by hearing what's happened to them. To let other survivors know….that there are things you can do, you don't have to live your life being in pain or abused."
