On tonight's episode of "Zoo" (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), Mitch and Jamie get caught in the middle of an animal attack at the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C.

Believe it or not, CBS has renewed this terrible show for a third season. Despite the fact that the ratings are middling at best.

Why? Because CBS owns "Zoo," and sells it very successfully around the world. And to Netflix.

Sigh.
