One of Klaus' old vampire friends arrives in New Orleans, but he's got some sort of secret agenda. Hayley struggles with being cursed to her wolf form in the bayou. Marcel, who's back in control of the French quarter, is recruiting vampires.

And there are a series of gruesome murders that may be the work of a serial killer.
