We're entering the time of the year when a lot of shows are going into reruns of old episodes — and none of the broadcast networks will be airing reruns any older than CBS will telecast on Sunday.

The "I Love Lucy Superstar Special" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) is a pair of colorized episodes. And before you scoff at this idea, CBS has garnered big ratings the past couple of years when it did the same thing with a Christmas episode and the one when Lucy stomped grapes in Italy.

This special features the Feb. 7, 1955 episode "L.A. at Last! — Lucy meets William Holden at the Brown Derby in Hollywood.

And the second episode is "Lucy and Superman (Jan.. 14,, 1957), when Lucy promises Little Ricky that Superman (George Reeves) will show up at his birthday party.

The colorization is a little disconcerting to "I Love Lucy" fans — I always thought their couch was brown, not blue. But it's very well done.

And who doesn't love Lucy?
