After five episodes of "Survivor" (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2), I'm feeling sort of sorry for Utahn Sierra Dawn Thomas.

She's still alive in the game, which is a good thing. But she's stuck on a tribe with chauvenistic, mysogynistic jerks, which can't be fun.

It is sort of fun to see these jerks try to ingratiate themselves with her – needing her vote – after treating her badly. And Sierra was correct in pointing out that Dan's attempt to apologize to her was one of the worst apologies ever.

This self-proclaimed genius took the opportunity to blame and attack Sierra when he was supposed to be wooing her over to his side. We can only hope it will come back to bite him.

In tonight's episode, one castaway struggles to fit in after a shocking tribal council, and wnning a reward gives another castaway a new outlook on life and the game.
