Today's Sundance "trailer of the day" features the man of the hour, James Franco.

"True Story" pairs Franco with Jonah Hill, a reunion of two of the stars in "This Is The End." But this isn't a comedy.

It's a dark fact-based drama, with elements of a thriller, based on a memoir by Mike Finkel. Hill plays Finkel, a disgraced New York Times reporter who discovers that a man in Oregon, Christian Longo (played by Franco), has been using his identity. What's more, Longo is in jail, accused of murdering his family.

The cast also includes Felicity Jones and Gretchen Mol.

"True Story" will screen in the Premieres section of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival.
