The Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey concert scheduled for April 25 at Vivint SmartHome Arena in Salt Lake City has been canceled.

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. Fans who purchased tickets through the Vivint Arena box office can contact a receptionist at 801-325-2000. The box office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Billboard reported that the 67-year-old Richie suffered a knee injury some weeks ago, and that a subsequent medical procedure led to the decision to postpone some shows and cancel others altogether, with the All the Hits tour ultimately being reduced from 35 dates to 21.

A source told Billboard that ticket sales for some of the shows had been lackluster, leading to the decision to cancel the shows in some smaller cities.

The tour, which was originally slated to start in mid-March and run through late May, now won't even begin until July 21, due in part to Richie's recovery, as well as his planned European dates and Carey's planned Las Vegas residency.
