Sundance Institute announces its free summer outdoor film festival. First up: the Coen Brothers' classic "Raising Arizona" starring Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter, screening at 9 p.m. at City Park in Park City.

SLC Jazz Festival
The swanky and smooth jazz festival takes place on Washington Square, 451 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Former Neo-Nazi
Local authors T.J. Leyden and M. Bridget Cook will read and sign copies of their new book, "Skinhead Confessions," from noon to 4 p.m. at Barnes and Noble, 1780 N. Woodland Park Drive, Layton.
