Grade: A

"Breaking Bad," one of television's smartest, most unpredictable dramas, arrives on DVD and Blu-ray with a second-season set that also takes a remarkable look at the writing process for one of TV's most brilliantly conceived shows. Walt, the meth-cooking high school science teacher, learns just how bad the consequences get in this masterful second cycle, a batch of 13 episodes even more riveting than the first season. The Blu-ray version, in particular, offers a fascinating interactive feature that examines the writing for the season's last episode by exploring the creative process.
