Brandon Bryant, 19, is a contemporary dancer who lives in Salt Lake City.

Utah's latest TV dance star, Brandon Bryant, returns to the Beehive state for the "So You Think You Can Dance" tour Saturday night at the E Center.

Bryant was runner-up on the show. Before his glory in TV land, he danced for Salt Lake City's Odyssey Dance Theatre, which also launched several former show contestants, including Thayne Jasperson and Matt Dorame in season 4.

The TV competition ended in August; Bryant and the other top 12 dancers went straight into the tour a week later. "I feel like I never left the crazy 'So You Think You Can Dance' world," he said, adding that he and his colleagues TiVo the show so they can watch this season's competition while on tour. "But the best part of [the tour] is being on the road and meeting all the fans. It's really been great."

Bryant plans to move to Los Angeles after the 40-city tour comes to an end in late December to take dance classes and audition for roles. But he might be lighting out soon for the East Coast, as he's been offered a part in the Broadway ballroom production "Burn the Floor."

Audience members should expect explosive tricks and exciting routines at tonight's concert. "I'm excited to come back and see all my friends," Bryant said. "I'll definitely give a Salt Lake shout-out!"
