The 46-year-old comedian is a comic's comic, and smarter than the average punchline: As a contestant on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" he won $500,000 for his favorite charity, and he told The Tribune that he knew the answer to the $1 million question, but host Regis Philbin annoyed him. Macdonald's reputation keeps him employed in Adam Sandler films and filling in for Dennis Miller on the latter's conservative talk show. Regina Spektor
Not related to Phil, this Soviet-born pianist and songwriter is one of the bigger fish in the small anti-folk scene in New York City's East Village. Classically trained, Spektor recently performed on "Saturday Night Live," showcasing her multioctave voice on genre-spanning songs. Jupiter One is also on the bill.

A New Orleans-based keyboard player, Joe Krown served a long tenure with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's band.
