CD BOX SET » It's now time to finally catch up to all of the music snobs who have been telling you for years to listen to Big Star. Spanning 1968-1975, the 4-CD set "Keep an Eye on the Sky" follows the impossibly catchy Memphis power-pop band that was stuck in an era that wasn't ready for them. A decade later, The Replacements immortalized Big Star's singer Alex Chilton in a song bearing his name, but you can hear echoes of Big Star in songs by R.E.M., Cheap Trick and countless other bands that tried, but never succeeded, in writing songs as infectious as "September Gurls."
