Family matter » The Ministry of Health in the Bahamas tells TMZ.com the autopsy findings in the death of John Travolta's son may never be public. Dr. Hubert Minnis says a pathologist at Rand Memorial Hospital (where Jett Travolta was pronounced dead) performed the autopsy, which was expected to take several hours. Dr. Minnis says he personally decided, because of the high-profile nature of the case, to bring in a second pathologist from Nassau, Dr. Karen Sands. The coroner then forwards the completed report to the Travolta/Preston family. Dr. Minnis says only the family has authority to release the findings to the public. No word if that will happen.
Under arrest » Police in Illinois say actor and playwright Sam Shepard has been arrested on charges of speeding and drunken driving. Police say the 65-year-old Shepard was driving 16 mph over the 30 mph speed limit, and a breath test indicated Shepard's blood-alcohol level was double the legal limit. Shepard won the 1979 Pulitzer Prize for drama for his play "Buried Child."
Edited version » VH1 aired a clip of Sharon Osbourne, host of "Charm School," fighting with contestant Megan Hauserman, and it got nasty, TMZ.com reported. Osbourne went ballistic when Hauserman dissed Ozzy, but what VH1 didn't show was Sharon ripping at Hauserman's hair extensions or the girl's trip to the hospital the next day, where she filed a police report with the LAPD.
