Grade: B+

If you can listen to Tom Jones' first album released in the United States in 15 years and not think about the movie "Mars Attacks," then chances are you might enjoy his "24 Hours."

Jones dabbles in a lot of musical genres, including rock, Latin, jazz and blues. He even offers a Bruce Springsteen cover.

He seems a bit introspective about aging at times, such as the emotionally moving ballad, "Seasons," while the old Tommy James and the Shondells song, "I'm Alive" is the best up-tempo number on a good album.
