Sharon Little is opening for Chris Isaak, and this break follows her most recent big break: opening for Robert Plant and Alison Krauss on the duo's "Raising Sand" tour.
"If that had lasted forever, I'd be happy," Little said in an interview from West Virginia about sharing stages with the Led Zeppelin frontman and the queen of contemporary bluegrass.
Little, who was still a working waitress in January, said opening for Isaak will be different. Instead of having a backing band with her, she will have just one accompanist. "This is a different game," she said. "We're playing with a different ball."
