Maybe you can't afford to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Park City, but the exclusive hotel is inviting the public to enjoy its new poolside beer garden.

The Waldorf Astoria has historically been exclusive to hotel guests and spa members, but the beer garden will be open to the public on Saturdays beginning at 5 p.m. throughout the summer.

For those 21 and older, the beer garden will feature five Park City Brewery beers on tap — including the exclusive Waldorf Pow Day Beer — as well as nonalcoholic root beer. Steins are $10 each. Guests also can order from the outdoor menu that includes salads, sandwiches, hamburgers and raw bar items like oysters and ceviche. Prices $10-$19.

The hotel, 2100 Frostwood Drive, also is taking cabana rentals for the first time. Previously reserved for hotel guests, this is a way for nonguests to have access to what some say is the best pool in Park City.

Rentals are $150 for a half -day (11 a.m. -2 p.m. or 3-6 p.m.) or $250 for full-day rentals (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) There also are specialty and party packages that include liquor services and food.
