Dining does an about-face at Salt Lake City's Reverstaurant.

Guests at the shop order outside at various food trucks and then go inside the small brick building to enjoy their meal.

Necessity was the reason for this invention, says Jennifer Buckallew, who, along with Ted Warner, owns the popular Poutine Your Mouth food truck.

Last year, the couple leased the brick building at 327 E. 300 South in hopes of opening a stand-alone restaurant where they could serve their gourmet variations of poutine, the popular Canadian dish consisting of fries, topped with gravy and cheese.

Before they started to remodel, however, a developer purchased the building, with plans to eventually tear it down for apartments. Buckallew and Warner are now searching for another property.

Until then, they decided to capitalize on their experience and open a place "with a cool vibe," she said. Art adorns the walls inside the eating area, but now with the warming weather, guests also can dine outside.

A rotating lineup of food trucks park in front of the shop each day for lunch and dinner. For a list of times and what trucks will be available, visit Poutine Your Mouth at facebook.com/PoutineYourMouth/.
