Utah's summer concert schedule just got a bit busier thanks to a quartet of genre-disparate shows just announced for August and September at Usana Amphitheatre in West Valley City.

Those in the mood for a classic rock fix will be pleased to know that the rumored pairing of '70s stars the Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton has officially been confirmed. They will play Aug. 2, and tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m.

Things take a turn for the heavier on Aug. 11, when Huntington Beach-based metalcore outfit Avenged Sevenfold arrives. A7X, which is spending some days this summer opening for Metallica, headline this show in support of their latest album, 2016's "The Stage." Florida "pop moshers" A Day to Remember open. Tickets are on sale today at 10 a.m.

Omaha-based alt/reggae/funk/rap-rock band 311 will be playing on Aug. 12. Support acts are to be determined. Tickets are on sale Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m.

And finally, Long Beach ska punk outfit Sublime With Rome co-headline a Sept. 30 show along with Huntington Beach punks The Offspring. Tickets are on sale today at 10 a.m.

All tickets are on sale via Smith's Tix.
