Children explore Discovery Gateway Children's Museum's Reading Nook, which debuted Thursday, on Dr. Seuss' 113th birthday. The room, which features a jumbo light switch, a giant chair and a pencil holder from the museum's original Beck Street location, was created to celebrate literacy. It also is home to the Take a Book, Leave a Book library, a partnership with Salt Lake City Public Library and KUED PBS Kids. Families are encouraged to bring a book for another family to enjoy in exchange for a different book to take home.
