Country superstar Tim McGraw headlined the 36th annual Stadium of Fire on Saturday at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, part of the America's Freedom Festival with events planned throughout the July Fourth holiday weekend.

The patriotic bash — capped by what was billed as the "largest, loudest stadium fireworks show in the nation" — was hosted by Grammy Award winner and best-selling recording and concert artist Patti Austin, and included performances by the Rockwell Airtime Skydive Team, Unity Gospel Choir, David Osmond and the Stadium of Fire Dancers.

About 40,000 people were expected to attend; the event also is televised to more than 1 million military men and women in more than 100 countries via the American Forces Network.
