Corinne Liddell of Salt Lake City received a golden ticket worth more than $1,000 in movie passes and more on Friday as Megaplex Theatres at Jordan Commons in Sandy celebrated its 25 millionth guest. The milestone represents only the guests who have visited the Sandy location, which opened in 1999. Companywide, nearly 75 million guests have visited the 17 Megaplex locations in Utah and Nevada.

Liddell, who was joined by her 3-year-old granddaughter Claire and her husband Tom, is a regular movie-goer at the Sandy theater. "We come for the popcorn, they have the best here," she said.

The grand prize included 25 Megaplex movie passes, a 2016 MegaTub with 25 refillable popcorn vouchers and 25 gift cards. Another 24 moviegoers also received prizes during the ceremony.
