7th Annual Ogden Santa Run

All runners in this 5K through downtown Ogden dress as Santa Claus. Along the course, Santa's helpers will be handing out milk and cookies. Another Santa Run is scheduled for Provo on Dec. 6. Information, www.runsanta.com/.

When: 4:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: 22nd Street and Washington Boulevard, Ogden

Registration: $46 for late or same-day registration, (includes a Santa outfit) Runners age 8 and under can run free with a paid adult.

Ogden Holiday Electric Light Parade and Christmas Village opening

The light parade signals the arrival of Santa and the annual opening of Christmas Village featuring live entertainment plus more than 60 lighted cottages modeled after Santa's North Pole Village. Information, historic25.com/calendar.html#/?i=1.

When: Parade begins 5:30 p.m. Saturday; Christmas Village will be open till midnight and also open 5 p.m.-midnight nightly through Jan. 2.

Where: The parade goes south on Washington Boulevard from 22nd Street to 28th Street. Christmas Village is at the Municipal Gardens, 25th Street and Washington.

4th Annual Holiday Market

Find one-of-a-kind locally made gifts plus handmade artisan foods and visit with Santa Claus. Information, www.wasatchfrontfarmersmarket.org/.

When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday
