Workers sort just picked tart cherries along a moving line at the cleaning and processing facility at McMullin Orchard in Payson Wednesday July 11.  The cherries are ripe and the orchard is in high gear.  Tart cherry production in Utah is similar to last year's harvest, but because of a devastating freeze in Michigan, normally the nation's largest producing state, Utah will be No. 1 this year.
