Ray Burmiston | BBC Worldwide The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Clara (Jenna Coleman) in "Doctor Who."
A new season of Doctor Who begins with a new Doctor - Peter Capaldi takes over the role of everyone's favorite Time Lord (Saturday, 6:15 p.m., BBC America). And the Doctor and Clara (Jenna Coleman) are in Victorian London, where there's a dinosaur on the loose. If that's not enough to deal with, a whole bunch of people are dying when they spontaneously combust.
"Doctor Who" is always great fun. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Intruders (Saturday, 8 p.m., BBC America), a dark, muddled mess of a new series.
