The Salt Lake City police want the public’s help finding an endangered man.
Dennis Larsen, 74, went missing Friday after he and his brother came up to Salt Lake City from Utah County. Larsen stayed behind in the car while his brother went hiking at Ensign Peak about 3:30 p.m. — but was gone when the brother returned, according to a Salt Lake City police news release.
His brother called 911 about 5:45 p.m. Larsen, who suffers from dementia, may be trying to make his way home to the Provo area, according to the release.
Larsen is 5-foot-8, 165 pounds, has hazel eyes and thinning blond-with-gray hair. He was wearing a multi-colored, button-up shirt with short sleeves and blue dress pants, the release adds.
If anyone sees Larsen, the police ask that you call 911 or 801-799-3000.
