You’ve never seen vampires quite like the ones in Guillermo del Toro’s new series “The Strain.” It opens with terror aboard an airliner, which ends up on runway with no sign of life aboard. Enter Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) from the CDC, and the horror is off and running. It’s intriguing, creepy and downright scary at times.
