The Salt Lake County Health Department closed three Salt Lake County food carts and a Murray restaurant earlier this week for creating "imminent health hazards."

Shaddai Food Catering, 2128 W 2300 South; Tacos Dona Mary, 1780 W. North Temple; and Tacos Las Gueras Cart, 3200 W. 2670 South, were closed on Wednesday, because "food was prepared at home rather than at the approved commissary or on the food cart," according to reports on the department website.

CousCous Mediterranean Grill, 5470 S. 900 East, also was closed "as an imminent health hazard for ongoing repeat violations," a report states. During a health inspection conducted on June 14, the restaurant had 28 critical violations including improper food storage, food held at too high of a temperature and employee cups and other personal food stored near food preparation areas.

The food establishments can reopen when the department determines that all violations are fixed.
