Network and cable programmers are always talking about year-round scheduling — and there’s more evidence of that than ever this summer.

Not only are there a slew of cable shows, but ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW all have new and returning shows that will air original episodes in May, June, July and August. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:
