The Utah Symphony has added two acts to the Deer Valley Music Festival, looking back to music of the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s.

On Friday, July 25, The Orchestra — made up of former members of Electric Light Orchestra — will play ELO hits. (ELO’s leader and founder, Jeff Lynne, is not a member of this group.)

The next night, Saturday, July 26, will feature singer Tim Piper, who performs “Just Imagine,” a tribute to John Lennon that includes a multimedia experience and a backing band called Working Class Hero.

The Utah Symphony will not perform on these two dates, which will take place at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheatre.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at ArtTix.
