TV preview: ‘Supernatural’ attempts to launch a spinoff

The upcoming installment of “Supernatural” is more than just the 192nd episode of that series. It’s the pilot for a spinoff, tentatively titled “Bloodlines.” Our heroes, Sam (Jared Padaleck) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), travel to Chicago, where they discover that various Mafia-esque monster families (shape-shifters, werewolves) are running the city.
