Salt Lake City police are asking for the public's help to find a suspected bank robber.

About 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, a man gave a teller a note demanding money at the Key Bank branch at 1500 S. Foothill Blvd., according to the police. The suspect fled with the cash and got into a white, early 2000s-model BMW 3 series.

The suspect is described as a stocky white man in his mid 20s, who is 6-foot-1 and about 190 to 200 pounds. He had scruffy facial hair, yellow teeth and was wearing blue jeans with an off-white hooded jacket that had a darker geometric pattern on it.

The police are asking anyone with information to call them at 801-799-3000. People can also submit anonymous tips by texting TIPSLCPD and the information to 274367, with the case number 14-60714.
