Here’s a radical TV thought — “Devious Maids” might be better than writer/producer Marc Cherry’s previous series, “Desperate Housewives.” The two shows are very similar, with large casts and lots of plotlines centering on murder. But Cherry learned from the mistakes he made on “Housewives,” so the plotting is better on “Maids.” And it’s hilarious.
