A 60-year-old man died Tuesday when his ultralight aircraft crashed at Willard Bay State Park.

The crash occurred about 5:45 p.m. at a road to the Willow and Cottonwood campgrounds, said Utah State Parks spokesman Eugene Swalberg.

The National Transportation Safety Board, Utah State Park rangers and Box Elder County are investigating the cause of the crash.

The victim is a Weber County resident, but Swalberg did not know his hometown. His name was not being released pending family notifications.
