Tesla Motors, the California-based electric car maker, has added its fourth Utah Supercharging site in Richfield.

The new Supercharger is located at 20 W. 400 North near the Holiday Inn Express, Flying J Travel Plaza and Chuck Wagon restaurant. It is open 24 hours a day with four charging stalls. It is located just off Exit 40 on Interstate 70.

Other Tesla Superchargers in Utah can be found in Green River, Blanding and Moab. They are among 84 the company has constructed in the United States with another 14 located in Europe.

The company said this latest addition will help Model S owners to rest easy when they are driving from Las Vegas to Denver.

The company said Superchargers are located between city centers and along well traveled highways to enable free long-distance travel with the Model S. With the charger, drivers can replenish their battery with half of a charge in as little as 20 minutes. Many, such as the one in Richfield, are located near restaurants or stores.

The company estimates that its Superchargers have powered Model S vehicles with nearly 13 million miles of range, saving more than 500,000 gallons of fuel.
