Unified police want the public's help to find the woman suspected of robbing a Taylorsville credit union.

About 2:47 p.m. Monday, the woman passed a note to a Deseret First Credit Union teller, at 4645 S. 2700 West. The threatening note indicated that she wanted money, according to a Unified police news release.

The clerk complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount, the release adds. At no time did she display a weapon and no one was hurt.

The police have released the suspect's photo in the hopes someone will recognize her. The investigators describe the suspect as a Polynesian woman in her early to mid 40s, who is 5-foot-5 and weighs about 165 pounds.

At the time, she was wearing a grey hoodie-style sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, a baseball hat, black basketball-style shorts and grey shorts under those, according to the release.

If anyone has any information as to the identity of the suspect they are asked to contact the Unified Police Department at 385-468-9812.
