Unified Police detectives are asking for the public's help in bringing a Taylorsville bank robbery suspect to justice.

UPD Detective Ken Hansen said the holdup occurred about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Key Bank branch office at 1939 W. 4700 South.

The suspect — described as a slender, 5-foot-11 white male in his late-20s to early-30s — approached a teller, demanded and received an unspecified amount of money.

The man, who may have had a tattoo on his forehead, otherwise covered his face with a dark bandana and had the hood of his sweat jack, also dark, pulled up as well.

He was last seen running from the bank southbound.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call UPD Detective Rob Scott at 385 468-9814.
