Salt Lake City will once again host CookieCon, a cookie art convention and show featuring 500 decorators and vendors from 44 states and 16 countries.

It runs Thursday-Saturday, March 20-22, at the Salt Lake City Center Hilton, 255 S. West Temple.

During the three-day event, top cookie art instructors will share their expertise with participants who range from beginners to expert decorators.

Participant slots already are sold out, but the public can see a free display of cookie art, created by CookieCon attendees, on Friday and Saturday. Visitors also will be able to shop at the culinary vendors exhibits.

Blogger Elizabeth Adams, of Arty McGoo, is the keynote speaker. Popular blogger Glory Albin of GloriousTreats.com and culinary author Julia Usher will be on hand signing books.

Other instructors include Salt Lake City blogger Georganne Bell of LilaLoa.com, Angela Rudy of Oh Sugar Events, Amber Spiegel of Sweet Ambs, Susan Schmitt of The Painted Cookie, Myriam Sanchez from Chapix Cookies and Anne Yorks of Flour Box Bakery.
