Salt Lake 'Guac-Off' takes avocados to new heights

On Friday, March 7, four local chefs will battle to create Salt Lake City's best guacamole during the second annual "Guac-Off."

This fundraiser for the Whole Planet Foundation includes a silent auction, live music, food samples, tapas, beer tasting and the competition, which will involve 500 avocados. Sponsored by Whole Foods, Laurie's Buffalo Gourmet and Uinta Brewing.

When • Friday, March 7, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Where • Salt Lake Culinary Center, 2233 S. 300 East, South Salt Lake City
