Walk Off the Earth

Show of the week • The Canadian five-piece indie-pop band Walk Off the Earth produces a pleasantly scruffy sound, using low-tech production to create spare, elegant songs. They do original songs, but it's their covers that have gotten them plenty of attention. They have done Gotye's "Someone That I Used to Know," LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," Maroon 5's "Payphone," and most recently a lovely version of Lorde's hit "Royals." Parachute and Camera2 are the opening acts.
