Bald Eagle Day • The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is hosting five spots for watching bald eagles: Salt Creek Waterfowl Management Area, Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area, Fountain Green State Fish Hatchery, Split Mountain/Green River and Rush Lake Ranch. When: Saturday (times vary by viewing area but generally they are between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Admission: Free

Hot Chocolate Dash • This 5K raises money for A Child’s Hope Foundation to help fund an orphanage under construction in Buena Vista, Mexico. More information, www.hotchocolatedash.com and www.AChildsHopeFoundation.org.

When: 10 a.m. Saturday

Where: River Woods, Provo Beach Resort, 4801 N. University Ave., Provo

Registration: $25 online, $30 race day

When: Noon to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Where: South Towne Expo Center, 9575 S. State St., Sandy

Admission: Adults $9, seniors $8, children 12 and under free with a paid adult

Chocolate: The Exhibition • This is the opening weekend for a new exhibit on chocolate with chocolate tastings in the special exhibits gallery and chocolate experts on hand to share their knowledge. More information, nhmu.utah.edu/events/chocolate-exhibition-opening-weekend.
