BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall has a chance to tie a legend in the Fight Hunger Bowl (Friday, 7:30 p.m., ESPN). If his Cougars can beat the Washington Huskies, it will be his seventh postseason win - tying the total of longtime BYU coach LaVell Edwards. A win would make Mendenhall 7-2 in bowls; Edwards was 7-14-1.Edwards is way ahead in total wins, 257-101-3 to Mendenhall's nine-year record is 82-33.
