Miracle on 42nd Street

Desert Star Playhouse will present "Miracle on 42nd Street." Legendary producer C.B. d'Mille is preparing to open his new show, "Christmas Magic." After a series of flops, he is hoping that this will be the show to get him back on his feet. He has placed his hope in two of his stars, but rival theater owner Hardy Steele has a devious plan to ruin the show and take over the entire street. Green Day's American Idiot

The Light in the Piazza

"Pioneer Christmas: A Time for Celebration" is an interactive audience-oriented experience featuring pioneer stories, games, dancing, music, and songs that would have been a part of a 19th century Mormon pioneer Christmas celebration, including a visit from Father Christmas. Fences

Good Company Theatre will present "Fences" by dramatist August Wilson. At the center of the story is headstrong patriarch Troy Maxon, a former Negro Leagues baseball player whose career was halted by racial prejudice. With wary and dutiful pride he supports his family as a garbage collector, struggling to reconcile his lived experiences with the escalating social change of 1950s America.

Elf - The Musical

Pioneer Theatre Company will present "Elf, the Musical," Dec. 6-24, 2013. William "Buddy" Hobbs, a young orphan child, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Years later, Buddy, eventually finds out that he's a regular human being and heads off to New York City in search of his father.

Crow and Weasel

A Snow White Christmas

Lythgoe Family Productions will present "A Snow White Christmas," a family show based on the known fairy tale Snow White, with modern pop music, singing, dancing, comedy and interactive for the audience.
