OK, the premise of Almost Human (Sunday, 7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13) doesn't sound all that promising - three decades in the future, a cop (Karl Urban) and his robot partner (Michael Ealy) battle bad guys. But this is actually a very promising series that's not what you might expect. The biggest twist is that the cop is very robotic and the robot is very human.
A second episode airs Monday at 7 p.m., the show's regular time slot.
